On Friday 9th July we were very lucky to have Mill Cottage Farm Experience visit us all at school. Usually the farm is a Year R visit, however since we couldn’t have them visit last year we thought we would treat the whole school to a visit.

The children loved visiting the animals, using their scientific knowledge to ask and answer lots of questions about the animals and of course pet the animals as well.

Farmer Sarah demonstrated to the children how to test if an egg is okay to eat or if it is rotten…ask them to tell you all about it. The children also got to have a go at milking the udders of a pretend cow!

Luckily, the sun shone for us and we even had a fly over from the red arrows!!
